web sites for openings anyone know of a good web site devoted to some of the most common opening lines for white and black? i'm not looking to memorize a whole bunch of lines, but i would like to be more familiar with (and learn more about the intent) of the most commonly played. My local library has one book on chess and i've been disappointed w/the books i've bought online, so i wondered...

here are some decent ones.

This lets you enter the moves and it tells you what the opening is and the continuation. Also lets you look up any opening and look through the variations.

This one might be more what your interested in though. Has alot more on the ideas behind specific openings.
