najdorf I'm in the process of switching to the open sicilian, and am starting out by preparing for the najdorf, so if anyone would like to take the black side of a najdorf against me I would love a game (rated or unrated). I'd prefer to play against a stronger player than I, but any opponent would be great!

Maybe start a Najdorf mini tournament?

nah, I'm only interested in the white side of it. I'd hate to try to learn the najdorf as well as trying to pick up the open sicilian, that'd be way over my head.

Not that I'm trying to push you into something you don't want, but I find that playing an opening from one side of the board really helps your understanding of how to play it from the other side of the board. When you are forced to prove the worthiness of the position, you start to see all its strengths and weaknesses -- important information for when you are attacking that position in another game.

actually that's a better idea than I first thought as you can do up to 6 automatic moves so I could make it a 6.Bg5 najdorf (which is what I play), I just have no interest in taking black in a 6.Be3 najdorf or some other common line.

raskerino ... Havent you seen the Kasparov line 6...Ng4!?
Ok, so Gary is not WC anymore, but no need to call him Common! :))
